Invisible Woman probably takes the cake as the most successful strategist addition to Marvel Rivals. Her playrate skyrocketed, she acquired instant popularity and used her fame to grab herself some buffs which cemented her position as one of the strongest strategists who is incredibly hard to replace. Here are my best tips to easily improve your gameplay and soar through the ranks.
Never Die To An Ultimate Again!

Are you sick of dying to annoying ultimates that instantly kill you? Remember, you can cast your shield on yourself to completely negate Iron Man’s ultimate, Magneto’s ultimate, and you can even stop yourself from being stunned by Dr Strange’s Ultimate. As uou know those pesky rats are going to target you when you ‘DISAPPEAR’ in your ultimate , but Sue’s self shield is the perfect counter to an early demise that would cancel your precious ultimate. You can also cast your shield on a nearby teammate and play around it. But don’t worry if your shield is down, using your double jump to stay invisible while the Magneto searches for you is just as fun and almost as effective.
Melee Attacks to Increase DPS

With the potency of divers in recent seasons, it’s absolutely imperative that you gain experience when fighting at close range. I’m going to teach you how to outdamage a duellist … I wish! But we’re going to try! Weave in your melee attacks at close range to grab yourself the highest damage values possible. Throw out your auto attack and then instantly melee. Repeat this two more times and enjoy the extra damage and knockback effect that her third melee attack provides. This technique definitely requires finesse, I recommend jumping into a practice range until the combo becomes fluid.
Trust me, it’s extremely fun to slap a Spiderman in the face.
Hide!

Are you visible on Invisible Woman? Let’s fix that. Make sure you’re using your double jump to go invisible and start self healing whenever you need to top up your health and your shield is down. A very common mistake that Invisible Woman players make is instantly breaking the invisible state by shooting. Be smart about it! If there’s danger around you, spend a couple of seconds invisible, reposition closer to your team and make it harder for dive characters to lock you down. Use her double jump as a method of escaping from enemies, don’t just waste it.
Counters Flying Characters

Invisible Woman can be the ultimate counter to flying characters. Her Psionic Vortex applies pressure to flyers and forces them out of the sky. If an Iron Man is free casting from the heavens or a Human Torch is scorching ur teammates to dust, utilise your vortex to control the space and cancel their flight. Your vortex slows enemies and drags those annoying mosquitos out of the sky. It can be hard to aim this ability in the air, but with some practice you’ll find yourself role playing as an anti air EMP grenade in no time.
Displace Enemies

Before you roll your eyes, hear me out. If you’re tired of your team not getting any picks, use your Psionic Surge ability to pull enemies closer to your team for easy eliminations. This technique works amazingly well as strategists and duellists don’t expect to be suddenly pulled into melee range and straight onto the frontlines. I see a lot of Invisible Woman players only pushing with Psionic Surge which can actually detract from your team’s kill potential.
Her push is great for defensive purposes, to peel for someone or to counter an ultimate, but make sure you’re utilising her pull as much as possible in every other situation. Be aggressive! Be proactive! Pull an enemy into an Emma Frost choke slam! Alternatively, you can force enemies to meet their impending doom by pushing them off the map and grab yourself a cheeky elimination.
I hope these tips help improve your Invisible Woman gameplay and I wish you good luck on your climb!
